I am a native Washingtonian, born and raised in the Washington, DC a few miles from US Capitol. I gave my life to Christ in 2003. At that time, I was working as a judge for a local government. In 2008, I suddenly retired from the practice of law to follow God’s call to begin a new journey in my life. The journey has led me to owning an empowerment coaching business where I teach people how to build a successful home-based global e-commerce businesses.
On my journey, I am learning so much about who I am as I no longer wear the label “judge” and about life. I captured my thoughts and experiences in this blog, My Journey to Me-The Discovery, which focuses on personal development. Although this blog has been around for only a short time, it is now read by people in different countries all over the world. Through writing this blog, I discovered my passion is to lead and guide people to their highest potential in life. You can find encouraging messages and re-tweets from me on Twitter @sharmansjourney.
As if writing for my blog isn’t enough, I manage and contribute to the Anointed Women in Christ Blog writing inspirational Christian articles to uplift and encourage people. I’m also a monthly contributor to the e-zine Whine and Cheese, a publication designed for women to support each other as “they whine about the stresses of life and cheese (smile) in acknowledgement of their blessings”.
In May 2015, I successfully organized the first Book Pavilion and Fair for White House Prayer, an annual event held on the White House Ellipse to pray for our country, the President and the leaders of our country, as well as the leaders of other countries.
In 2015, I published my first book, “The PLAN A Way to Success”. The book, based upon Joshua 1:8 and Romans 12:2, is a manual outlining God’s instructions to achieve success in today’s world and contains stories from my blog showing how I used the instructions in my life. The book (and I) won an award.
Feel free to leave Comments to my posts. They let me know that she has helped you in some way.
